My long weekend trip to California was too pretty not to share. Not only did I want to show you one of my favorite dresses from the trip, I also thought I’d post some beautiful shots from Santa Monica. My boyfriend and I stayed right across the street from the pier in The Georgian Hotel (a deal we found through Hotwire), and took advantage of our close proximity to the beach. We watched the sunset from the pier, dipped our toes in the Pacific (it was too cold to go further!) and got up early the second morning to work out on the beach.
By starting our trip in the more secluded Santa Monica, it felt like a nice getaway for just the two of us and really set the tone for the rest of the trip with friends and a wedding. Tomorrow I’ll be back with more photos that are even more colorful – believe it or not. Hopefully you’re not too sick of this yet, but I just can’t get my head out of the LA clouds!
