OH MY just hit my Cali-versary 🌴 Here’s to 4 years of two cities, a pandemic, many travels, more wine tastings than I thought possible, star sightings, and new friends. And in a long overdue life update, a DOG as well as a HOUSE…and so much more.
When Steve took a job out West, we of course had no idea what our time there would hold. I was still working and living in Chicago. I visited him a few times and did allll of the tourist things + got used to the fact I’d be a Californian soon. Once moving there, we couldn’t have been more fortunate to land in the city during COVID thanks to their safety protocols and all that the Bay Area has to offer. We made the most of the many outdoor activities and what makes San Francisco so unique. After 2 years in San Francisco, we headed south to Los Angeles. I missed the sun and the city was ideal for Steve’s professional role at the time.
Los Angeles has offered even more that neither of us could have imagined 5 years ago, when we were living in Chicago. And after 2 years in LA, we said goodbye rental, hello house 🏡. We’re getting settled in to our craftsman and tackling the never ending to-do list of homeowners. Who knows what’s next?
