Wedding Season with Naturalizer

This time last year Steve and I were getting dangerously close to our wedding, but there was still so much to get done! I was looking back through some of my Amazon and Etsy orders recently and realized I left a lot to the last minute before our wedding. The ceremony date was May 20, and at the beginning of the month I was still placing orders for bridesmaids’ thank you gifts, ceremony programs, even table setting cards and other reception decor! Wow, was I really living on the edge.

To make it even harder to focus, Steve and I had two weddings the month before ours. I remember not feeling completely present at anytime because there was so much on our plates. But after going through all of that, this year’s wedding season is even more special to us. We can sit back and enjoy others’ weddings, and remember back to our own as we experience their big day.

We kicked off our wedding season recently with one of Steve’s best friends celebrations in the Logan Square neighborhood. It was fun at the reception to see the newlyweds get up on stage during one song and just sing their hearts out to each other. It reminded me of when Steve and I were encircled by our friends during Backstreet Boys’ “Everybody” – the video evidence shows just how much fun we were having! Having that understanding now of what newlyweds are feeling and going through has made us better and more engaged wedding guests. We want to stand outside of the church after Mass and visit with relatives who’ve traveled a long way for the event, or be on the dance floor all nights if that’s what the couple wants. So that means I need to dress comfortably (and for the occasion) so I can put my wants aside and just help make it about the couple.

Thankfully, Naturalizer sent me the most adorable pair of Gianna pumps that are incredibly comfortable and cute. The pair is a part of the RSVP Edit collection and let me tell you, when I was offered a chance to choose a style it was hard to pick just one! There are shoes that are perfect for wedding guests, but also wedding party worthy, even pairs that a bride would love! I’m partial to the styles in my wedding colors (blush and blue), which is why my eye was drawn to the Gianna pair. Not only is this pair versatile enough to take me from the wedding reception to brunch the next morning, it’s comfortable enough, too.

There’s a whole collection of wedding-worthy Naturalizer shoes that are #RSVPReady and will help wedding guests be the best they can be, in all situations the couple may need. Wedding season may be in full swing now, but I’m glad at least one of the things (shoes) can be checked off of the list to prepare.

Thank you to Naturalizer for kindly sponsoring this post. All opinions are 100% honest & completely my own.
