On the last night Steve and I finished the Netflix document “Tiger King,” I happened to be wearing leopard print pajamas. I didn’t even put it together until my husband secretly recorded me and posted an Instagram Story about living with Carole Baskin. It was funny, and even funnier when I shared it and someone commented “You’d make a good Carole Baskin!” Thanks…I think?
After Tiger King came out, it was easy to spot anyone impersonating Carole on social media thanks to their flower crowns and leopard print. I’m a part of a Rent the Runway Facebook group and someone asked, “Is Carole Baskin going to ruin leopard print for all of us?” No, we all agreed. Reclaim leopard print! I especially agreed, because I realized the print is a staple in my wardobe. In fact, this was something I posted about last year before I even know Carole Baskin existed.
So we’re all in agreement that Carole didn’t ruin leopard print, she brought it to the forefront again, right? If you’re home and doing any online shopping, I think it’s time to shop leopard print in honor of Netflix’s best villain.
