Swag Bag Review

Sincerely-Jennie-Swag-Bag-3

One of the most fun parts of blogging is connecting with brands and companies that I really like and getting to try out new products firsthand. Sometimes those products don’t quite measure up to what they claim to be (and I tell you guys) or they’re too good not to share.

Recently, Rakuten had us Chicago bloggers out to their offices to learn more their affiliate network and to get a little taste of the types of companies they work with. They then sent us home with a swag bag that was out of control! It included adorable Vera Bradley coin purses (similar here), delicious snacks, and products from top hair and makeup lines. Today I’m reviewing my five favorite products from the bag that I just had to tell someone about!

Sincerely-Jennie-Living-proof

Living proof. Perfect Hair Day

PHD is a 5-in-1 styling treatment that smooths, volumizes, conditions, strengthens and polishes. I was skeptical, but the first time I used it I got several compliments on my hair – one coming from my hair stylist!

Sincerely-Jennie-bhcosmeticsBhCosmetics Wild & FreeĀ

TheĀ Wild & Free Baked Eyeshadow Palette caught me off guard at first because of the bright colors. But, when used dry it’s a subtle eye color that goes on smoothly. Use it wet for a louder eye look.

Sincerely-Jennie-TatchaTatcha “PURE”

Tatcha Pure one-step camellia cleansing oil takes off even the toughest waterproof cosmetics and leaves the skin incredibly soft. I’ve switched out my other makeup remover for this and love how smooth my skin is afterward without feeling greasy.

Sincerely-Jennie-Sephora-mascaraSephora “The Mascara”

I’ll try any mascara once, and with that said, I felt as if I didn’t need one more bottle cluttering my makeup drawer. But I was proved wrong by “The Mascara.” It lengthened and added volume to my lashes without any clumping.

Sincerely-Jennie-FTDFTD – Redefining Floral Luxury

FTD now offers a luxury collection and the options are just beautiful (some bloggers were lucky enough to win bouquets at the Rakuten event). They can be a bit pricey, but if you’re in business or are celebrating a special occasion, I think this would be a great gift.
