Today I decided to make my post a #ManiMonday post because I have nail trends to share with you…plus some good news from my favorite Chicago spa! To begin I want to highlight the favorite nail trend I’m trying this spring: a multicolor manicure. I came across this idea as I was searching for ombre manicure inspiration (the kind where each nail is a different shade in one hue), and I loved having five or more different nail colors. It sure beats trying to choose the one color I want to wear for the next week.

Nail Trends for Spring
Ok, ok, I know – pastels for spring – groundbreaking. But seriously, when warm weather and sunny days start to hit, I reach for this palette. I’m wearing OPI’s “You’re Such a Budapest,” which I bought at TJMaxx. (TJMaxx is a great place to get inexpensive salon-brand nail polish but I will warn you it’s not that new, so it can go bad quicker.) Here are some of my favorite spring color nail polish colors:
- “Essie “Mint Candy Apple” (mint green)
- Essie “Playdate” (light purple)
- Kanpai OPI! (grey periwinkle blue)
- OPI “Elephantastic Pink” (Pepto-Bismol pink)

My last piece of business for this #ManiMonday is that my favorite place to get my nails done, Mojo Spa, has finally launched online appointments! Don’t get me wrong, I never mind calling and talking to my favorite managers there. But it’ll be so much easier to reserve a slot at any time day or night through their system. If you’re in Chicago and haven’t visited Mojo Spa to get your nails done or to buy their homemade spa products, get yourself there stat. I love it so much I even hosted a party there.
