Last week should have been easy. I was only looking at four days of work, but as I should have expected things had piled up after being on vacation. I suddenly didn’t know how I could get it done in just four days! Thankfully, in the midst of the busy week, a few others bloggers and I spent the best evening at the Spa at Dana with special guests Blohaute. The treatments  we received seriously helped me get over my post-vacation slump and slide into the weekend (relatively) stress-free.

At the spa, I was lucky enough to preview the summer facial, massage and pedicure, among other treats. I have never felt more relaxed or more taken care of during a day of pampering. Maybe it was the opportunity to drink wine in a robe with some girlfriends, or maybe it was the attentive staff at the Dana Hotel, but I walked out feeling incredibly impressed and ready to take on the next two work days. It didn’t hurt that I was leaving with an adorable crown braid that would last for a whole other day.
