My Favorite One Pieces

shop one piece swimsuits

This past weekend I had to do what is normally a very onerous task: shop for bathing suits. I know you all feel me on this. Does anyone else like stripping down and shimmying into tight suit after tight suit? Nope, didn’t think so. I was dreading the trip but knew I wanted to get it out of the way to have some cute suits to pack for our Europe trip. (We leave in a few days – eeee!) I went to Macy’s because we still have gift cards from our wedding to the store, and I knew there’d a huge selection of suits to choose from. What I wasn’t counting on was just how huge. And how cute the suits were! I always shop one piece swimsuits because it’s what I feel is most flattering and I feel most comfortable in. After browsing for not too long, I had at least 12 suits in my hands and was happily heading to the dressing room. They were so cute, bright and high quality, I actually couldn’t wait to try them on!

Wow, once I began trying on the suits, a second surprising thing happened. I actually liked the way they fit! The fabric was thick but comfortable, and it held me in. Sure, this trip to shop one piece swimsuits was a little more expensive that what I’m used to, but I knew it’d be worth it when I feel confident in what I’m flaunting by the pool. Plus, there were those gift cards. In the end, I brought home five of my favorite suits to ask Steve to help me narrow it down to 1-2. So which ones did I buy?

You’ll just have to wait for the ‘gram to see what I packed in my suitcase. Until then, here are the eight favorite suits I tried on. Really, I actually wish I had more reasons to need to don a swimsuit to justify purchasing more of these cute ones. By the way – this is not at all sponsored. I just had to share the surprisingly good experience. Happy shopping.

UPDATE: I’m back from Europe and have real life photos of me wearing the two swimsuits I purchased and packed from the roundup above.
