Doesn’t it always seem like when you’re looking for something specific you can never find it? Take this oversized vest. I’d been on the hunt for the perfect, fitted oversized vest (an oxymoron, I know) for months, but hadn’t seen any I liked. Then last Friday I happened to drag my boyfriend into White House Black Market on a whim because there was a SALE sign was in the window. Flipping through the racks, one of the first things I came across was this vest. Imagine my surprise when I tried it on and loved the fit, along with several other pieces of clothing in my dressing room. The best news? Each piece was less than $50.

By the way, that was my first time in WHBM in a while and when they asked me to sign up for their rewards program I was skeptical. But the sales associate explained it was free – not a credit card – and I got 25% off any purchases that weekend, including the one I was making at that moment.  I also got another coupon for $20 off an $80 purchase in several weeks. The moral of the story? Stop in WHBM, search the sales rack and sign up for the rewards program!

This pair of shoes also happened to be one of those purchases I came across when I wasn’t looking. Actually, I didn’t even know I wanted pink suede high heels until I saw their great price tag at DSW. Since purchasing them last winter, I’ve worn the heels more than I could imagine.
