Editor Status

Since I spent all last week talking about work, I thought I’d share share an actual work outfit of mine. It’s spring but still a bit chilly in Chicago, so I’ve been wearing light layers because of that. And since I’m so sick of skirts and tights, I’ve been wearing pants more often than usual.

A favorite cut of mine for many years has been the Editor pants from Express. They’re flattering and have some stretch so I’m comfortable sitting in them all day at my desk. Plus, Express’s work attire lasts forever. I’ve bought several traditional pairs over the years in black or tweed, and this season Express has also come out with fun pairs in chambray or windowpane print. Check them out, there’s seriously a pair for any office.
