After my engagement a few weeks ago, and the initial excitement wore off, I started getting kind of anxious. There’s so much to plan and so little I actually know about weddings! Created by Chicagoan Dayna Shay, the company recently launched to help brides and bridesmaids find their perfect dresses, without all of the extra fabric and drama that bridesmaid dress shopping can sometimes come with. I was invited to the Bubbling Brides launch party and was really impressed with the idea that Dayna has turned into a business.
Bubbling Brides is an online retailer that offers a large selection of bridesmaids dresses that aren’t your typical bridesmaid dresses. Sure, there are the lovely long, black one shoulder gowns that you hope to get as a bridesmaid, but there are also dresses with crisscross backs or high-low hems that I’d love to have in my closet just for fun. The dresses and accessories offered on the website are all at competitive prices.
What really sets Bubbling Brides apart from its competitors and brick-n-mortar stores is how you can shop their styles. You can choose to have up to three samples sent to your home to try on. If you’re in the Chicagoland area, you can even schedule an at-home sample party with a Brideologist, someone who does all of the hard work for you by selecting dresses! That sounds like fun to me!
