A few weeks ago a girlfriend asked me for a red lipstick recommendation. She and I have a bit different coloring, so I asked her to give me some time and immediately began searching for other bloggers wearing red lips on Instagram. I sent her a link to one of Catherine’s pictures, and Revlon “Really Red” was the winner.

I figured if it could help one friend out, it might be beneficial to gather a few of us bloggers and share our favorite lipsticks with you. Turns out even if we all agree on the same brands, we differ on the lipstick color. I personally like darker, matte reds, while Jill likes lipsticks with a hint of pink to complement her hair color.
