Pike Place Public Market

It’s been several days since I’ve been back from an extended weekend in Seattle, and I’m still dreaming about the sunny skies and warm weather that my boyfriend and I left behind. It was so nice to get away together over Valentine’s Day, and we both commented on everything seemed to just fall into place. It was nearly perfect – the mild February, visiting with friends and simply being on the same page as a couple. Yesterday I shared our sightseeing recommendations, and today I wanted to post pictures from my favorite spot in the city, Pike Place Market.

I’m a bit obsessed with farmers markets, and Pike Place had everything I could dream of in one. There were fresh flowers everywhere (with lots of people purchasing for Valentine’s Day), a Greek yogurt stand laid out like gelato, the iconic fish mongers throwing fish for entertainment. There was also any other kind of fresh food you can imagine, as well as the original Starbucks store and several restaurants. Looking at the pictures now makes me crave Chicago’s summer and the farmers markets that pop up everywhere.
