Happy summer! Chicago seemed to get the memo this past weekend and decided to have the perfect weather for poolside lounging, grilling and walks outside. I also spent some time shopping the MDW sales and am so excited about all of the things I bought! From cheeky pineapple shorts to a crystal necklace, I really had fun giving my closet a bit of a refresh for the warmer weather.

One piece of clothing I was on the hunt for is an off the shoulder top. Showing a little shoulder is sexy and playful and can even help you work on your tan. (A major concern of mine this summer, of course.) I found an abundance of affordable options at a store on State Street called A’GACI. I’d suggest starting at a shop like that, H&M or Forever 21 if you’re just dipping your toe into the off the shoulder trend. If you’re all in and want something a little more high quality or expensive, Nordstrom and Shopbop have several great styles. You really can’t go wrong, showing a little shoulder this summer.
