When mules started becoming popular again they were a shoe that baffled me (Birkenstocks would be another example of such a shoe). I couldn’t decide if they were cute or not, if they were too clunky or actually flattered a woman’s foot. So when Express had a pair on sale for $35, I decided it was a good price to try out the style for myself. I actually think they’re a great in-between season shoe, and look great with dresses as well as flares. So one shoe down, one more to go…maybe?
