Wrapped Up

You may remember a few weeks ago I was dying for a cape, and even shared some great options for how to style a cape. I was so excited when a Theory version came available in my Rent the Runway Unlimited queue that I immediately ordered it. I traveled with it over Thanksgiving and have barely worn another coat since.

Sure, capes might not be the most functional once a real Chicago winter hits. (Probably right around mid-January), but this one is actually pretty warm. It’s also super chic. I just make sure to wear a long-sleeved black top or jacket underneath it and have been comfortable on my commutes. It was also the perfect camouflage with my swing dress after too many helping of turkey, you know?

I love how chic this cape looks with all black and some pops of color, but I’ll be back next week to show you how to style a cape for a more festive outfit. Until then, believe this will be on repeat!
