A Fall Fantasy

This post is almost meaningless thanks to the warm spell we had this week in Chicago, but I still thought I’d share. We’re bound to return to the cold, windy reality of November one day soon. On a recently blustery day in the city, I incorporated fall layering into my outfit with some neutral pieces. I loved the outcome, even after I shed my layers in the sun. My outfit still felt pulled together thanks to the coordinating pieces.

I purchased this adorable and warm scarf there last year and it’s still available online. You know I’m never one to pass up a deal. It doesn’t hurt when there’s an extra 40% or more off like the Factory store so often offers!

How beautiful is this city, no matter the weather? (Ok, the sunshine and blue waters don’t hurt!)

Oh, and do you notice I’m wearing these booties again? Seriously, they are the most comfortable pair of shoes and the most versatile. I’ve managed to wear them with jeans, a black dress and to work. I’ll do a roundup for you soon, just so you can see how much of a repeat offender I am!
