Confession, I wore this knit sweater three days in a row last week. I couldn’t help it, I was just so happy to have finally found the perfect white sweater after months of searching. I stumbled upon it during a trip to the Ann Taylor on Michigan Ave., and at 50% off the sale price, I snatched it right up.

To promote the brand’s new cashmere matte line, Essie is offering free polish changes at select Chicagoland Ulta Beauty stores.* The next one is Friday 4-7 p.m. at the North & Sheffield Commons Ulta. It’s first-come, first-served, so factor in a little shopping time as you patiently wait (although the nail tech keeps the line moving quick). Oh, and the color I’m wearing is Candy Apple Mint, which isn’t part of the matte line, but was still an option.
