I can’t believe that it was just two weeks ago that I was complaining about being too hot in Tampa. Now, it takes everything I have to muster up any desire to go out in the Chicago wind and cold. Because of the huge difference in temperatures between Illinois and Florida, I had a really difficult time packing what to wear to visit my parents over Christmas.
I thought this dress from Rent the Runway would be the perfect boho look for winter in Tampa, but truth be told I was even sweating a little just walking outside in it. Most of what I ended up wearing on vacation were actually workout clothes or a swimsuit by the pool (but hey – I’m not complaining). Now that I’m back in Chicago I’m excited to still have the dress through the Rent the Runway Unlimited program so I get a chance to wear it again with tights and booties. I’m positive this time there’s no way I’ll feel too hot in Chicago.
