Since she came out as Serena van der Woodsen, Blake Lively inspired thousands of girls with her fashion sense. I’ll admit it, I was one of them (although Blair’s preppy style also spoke to me). When Jessica Simpson first came on the scene in the early 2000s I thought her ripped flare jeans and lingerie tops were everything (that stage has passed, thankfully). But who would have thought the singer would one day be a millionaire off of her own clothing line? Sure, some of her stuff is still a little flashy for my taste, but the way she couples southern boho style with sex appeal inspires me to mix up my look once in a while.
