Spring Wedding Options

what to wear to a spring wedding

This year’s wedding season has a different meaning for Steve & me. Sure, we’re looking forward to our wedding, but we also have a few others before and after! We’re super excited to celebrate with our friends around such a big time for us, too. Planning for their weddings is giving me a great excuse to think about something other than our big day. It’s also an excuse to pick out my outfits, something I have so much fun doing!

You might be surprised to hear this, but while I own lots of dresses, I can wear very few to a spring wedding. (That’s one of the reasons I signed up for a Rent the Runway Unlimited subscription again.) I’ve gone through my closet to evaluate what could work for a formal event or cocktail hour.  Obviously this floral dress was on the top of my list, as were fun dancing shoes. While both of these items are no longer in stores, I rounded up similar products I found in case you’re also in need of ideas about what to wear to a spring wedding.

What to wear to a spring wedding?

I know, I know: floral for spring, groundbreaking. But there’s a reason this trend pops up year after year. Just how adorable are these floral dresses?

Wedding Guest Shoes

And of course we can’t forget a fun pair of shoes. I love a pair of fringe shoes I purchased last year from Banana Republic. The store has similar pairs this year, and there are plenty of options in all colors:

Whatever you wear, just be sure you can dance in it. You wouldn’t want an uncomfortable pair of shoes or tight dress to ruin your time as a guest at a wedding this spring!
