Yesterday I shared some of my favorite things to do in Vegas aside from clubbing, but let’s be honest, I do love to get dressed up and go dancing. Of course that’s not all I do while I’m in Sin City. There are so many things to do and to dress for, to make sure I can fit everything in my carry-on, I’ve started a basic packing list with outfit ideas below.

As I mentioned Monday, a girl’s got to eat in Vegas. The most cost-effective and fun meal is brunch, so wear something simple but still cute. I also go with long sleeves or layers because the insides of those restaurants are cold!

It’s nearly impossible to go to Vegas without going to the pool. If you’re traveling to a pool party at another hotel you’re going to want the only necessities in a small cross-body bag, and a cute cover up like a skater skirt. A zip up one-piece swimsuit will ensure you’re comfortable but still sassy at the pool.

I love getting dressed for Vegas clubs because that’s when I pull out all of those sexy dresses that are typically stuck in the back of my closet. I choose bright colors to stand out from a sea of black dresses. It’s also possible to wear tall heels to dance in and still be comfortable, just make sure they have a high platform.

Vegas is also full of amazing restaurants and shows, so if possible you should plan a night to enjoy something a little more elegant. Wear those curb-to-cab heels and dress that you wouldn’t dare bring near drink-spilling party animals. A vampy lipstick will polish off the look.
