Wedding Wear

I can’t believe wedding season is upon us once again! I’m at the age where my friend groups are into the second wave of weddings, and that includes my college girlfriends. I traveled to my first wedding activity of the year last weekend, an Arabic celebration for a former roommate, and as I looked in my closet to determine what to pack, I realized I needed to update my wedding wear! The last time I seemed to have this many weddings was three to four years ago, so needless to say styles have changed. I’m also now looking for dresses that are a little different than my 25 year old self would wear.

Thankfully I work down the street from TJMaxx and I ran in there after work the night before my wedding roadtrip. I meant to just stop in, but I wasn’t expecting the many choices the store would have! Maybe they’d just gotten a new shipment, because I had so much wedding wear to choose from including dresses by Cynthia Rowley, Ralph Lauren, Ivanka Trump and Calvin Klein – most dresses less than $40!

I walked out of the store with several new dresses, and fell in love with this one for my first wedding of the season. The rest will have their turn though, carrying me through a summer full of not just weddings, but bridal showers and graduations, too! Is your summer looking as busy as mine?
