Skirting the Issue

I’ve spent time on here talking about professional dress because not only is work attire something I enjoy, it rules a lot of our lives! Think about it, we’re in the office five days a week, so there’s a chance we spend quite a bit of effort and time thinking about what we’re going to wear to work each day. I know my professional dress is starting to edge out the ratty weekend Ts and short weekend skirts.

Still, I was trying on outfits for a recent client meeting and it dawned on me that my closet was missing key pieces to help make the planning process fun. I needed something more casual than a day in the office but less formal than a new business pitch. I needed something polished but unique, classic with an unexpected twist. I needed…I needed…this skirt and blazer!
