Galentine’s Day

Yesterday marked my fourth annual Galentine’s Day party and I couldn’t have felt happier with my friends brunching, decorating cookies and laughing. Every time I host a party like this, my boyfriend sees me getting anxious before the big day and asks why I keep throwing soirees. Sure, I may work myself up over the small details, but once my girlfriends start arriving I get a big smile that doesn’t leave for the whole party. Yesterday after everyone said their goodbyes (some with cookies in hand to take their guys), I sat down and happily surveyed the mess in my living room. It was the kind of mess that’s only made by a successful party. So I want to thank my gal pals who were able to attend, and look forward to more parties that allow me to obsess over every detail before relaxing with great company.
