Blogiversary Part Deux

Blogiversary week on Sincerely, Jennie continues today with a fun photo shoot in the West Loop. I bought this Banana Republic dress on sale last week and it arrived just in time to make my pink dreams come true. It’s definitely a front-contender for my Valentine’s Day plans, too, although those will probably be sans balloons.

An anecdote about these photos, after taking them my boyfriend (who was the one  who patiently snapped away as I tried to control the balloons) asked me what I liked best about doing my blog and why I continue. Honestly, there are a lot of reasons I blog (I mentioned a few yesterday) but in this instance I answered, “You know, you like, see other people’s cute photos with balloons and then you have a reason to copy those photos.”

“WHAT?” My boyfriend asked. I know it makes little sense, but for someone who loves creativity and style, this blog makes total sense. When I blog about style, I get to share my day-to-day work wear or weekend wear, along with my “aspirational” outfits. I mean, there are few reasons other than a blogiversary that I could walk around the West Loop in a pink dress with adorable pink balloons.
