Reflecting on 2016, it was definitely a time for me to refresh my closet and try out new beauty and fashion trends. Sadly I ended my Rent the Runway Unlimited membership (read the review) because it no longer fit within my budget, but I did get to partner with a similar clothing rental service, the Ms. and Mr. Collection. In all honesty, a slight weight gain caused the need to purchase new clothes and I seemed to gravitate toward midi skirts and dresses to flatter my shape. I did, however, discover several pairs of pants that I love for the office and I continue to use shirts and accessories to make them feel like new.
With my upcoming wedding, I turned my attention to improving my skin (even visiting an esthetician) and hair. I was a part of the Goldplaited Prep Pass service for several months and loved the unlimited blowouts and braids. The ladies at Goldplaited turned me on to a new favorite shampoo and conditioner and blow dryer, all of which have made my hair grow quicker and a lot more healthy.
