Bright Florals

This spring I’m all about floral patterns. Typically, I’ve shied away from them since it can be hard to find prints that are flattering. There’s a fine line to walk between looking cute and being overwhelmed in an eye-catching print. When I saw this Banana Republic floral dress on the hanger I was skeptical, but my motto is try everything on (which is why my shopping trips are so exhausting). When I zipped up the dress, I was pleasantly surprised. I can’t help but to smile when wearing this bright floral dress, which reminds me of summer and sun!

I don’t see this dress online anymore, but browse your local Banana Republic or check out these lace dresses in the same cut. They’re also bright and cheery, and now an extra 50% off! If you do purchase it, I’d suggest sizing down because the dress was made to be oversized, but that’s when you’re getting into the overwhelming territory as mentioned above.

What’s even more fun about floral dresses like this is that you get to play with other colors, which is exactly what I did with my pink heels. They’ve been a favorite since I purchased them more than a year ago, and can be worn many ways as evidenced here.
